Margaret O’Hare is a classically-trained painter based in Florence, Italy. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in English from the University of Virginia after spending two years studying liberal arts at St. John’s College, Annapolis. She currently studies and teaches at Charles H. Cecil Studios in Florence, Italy.

Margaret specializes in portraiture and works from life using the sight-size method. She has exhibited paintings in Florence and London.
